While on the set of Drake's video for "Fancy," music producer Swizz Beats released these photos of these new never-before-seen Christian Louboutin sneaks. There's no word if these are apart of the CL's fall/winter collection or not. Seems as if the shoes are crocodile skin of some puter/grey color.

Mike Posner - Cooler Than Me

So I'm up late at night, as always it's around 4AM. I'm on Twitter and randomly browsing blogs. This video comes on. I'm paying it at first, until the beat dropped. It was love at first electric drum. I had heard of Mike and this song earlier this year but once again I paid it after reading a tweet where someone made the comment their lack of care for him. I should've done my research then. But thanks to AMTV, I'm a fan.

I love electropop/R&B crossover music. Like Posner himself and Taio Cruz. The raspiness of his voice is different and unique and I enjoy the sounds of it. If his album is full of songs like this one, I'm headed to being a big fan of his. Just discovered he has a few mixtapes, definitely gonna check 'em out!

Mike's debut album "31 Minutes to Takeoff" is set to release August 10th. I'm buying it.

Please excuse my extensive period of no posts. I've been feeling so uninspired. As fashion is going thru a semi-dry stage right now as the industry prepares for this fall and the upcoming spring. I do however apologize.

But, good news is as I've been away I'm planning to revamp my blog. New name, new look, new beginnings. I'm going to make my blog much more personal. I thought I was doing so with this one but it STILL was not what I had imagined. I want to do video interviews with some of my style favorites and such. Reviews of new music, designers, boutiques, stylists and the go-getters of Alabama.

Expect the revamp sometime in August, close to the starting of school. Like the second or third week of August. :)

I'll be posting every now and then on here periodically but expect big things come August! :D

Prince for Ebony July 2010

My favorite musician of all time, Prince, is featured on next month's issue of Ebony. How lovely. That face is sickening! I love how he's selling it to me. Especially for a man who recently turned 52 this past Monday.

If you haven't heard let me be the first to tell you that Rue McLanahan, best known for her role as Blanche Devereaux on Golden Girls, has passed away at the age of 76.

Rue/Blanche was my favorite Golden Girl. I loved her wit, sexuality and she got UP! I know we aren't meant to live forever but this was so unexpected as her former castmate Betty White is still making moves and doing things, as she s now the only surviving Golden Girl. :( May Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia live on!

This is one tour I wish I had a time machine for so I can go back and see. Prince, in my opinion, is one of thee greatest musicians of all time. Hands down. I hate how his success goes unnoticed because of the major success at the same time of Michael Jackson. Don't get me wrong, MJ is bad but Prince is just as bad. Prince was also one of the first blacks on MTV, first to sell out to majority of white audiences, world wide. Hello? Give the man the respect and honors he deserves, while he's still alive. Anywho. Every since I first heard this song on various commercials, I had to find it. It was love at first hear. It wasn't until sometime last year that I realized it had a video which made my love grow fonder.

If Vogue ever did a summer editorial movie, this would be it. This is what the video gives me, a live fashion editorial. Of course the fashion's aren't much but you get my drift, right? It's like the perfect video that says "hello and welcome to summertime." (That could be the title.) But the song is so laid back, relaxed and chill and I love how that's portrayed through the models in the video. And I love the slowed down motion which further gives a chill mood. Great directing!

Just watch and listen, I'm sure you'll grow to love this track like I do. It's an unrecognized classic.

Tyra is stepping up the prizes for next season's winner of her hit show, America's Next Top Model. Instead of covering Seventeen magazine, the winner will now look forward to covering Vogue Italia.

This is HUGE! The model will get way more exposure, even internationally as a true top model. I don't know how Tyra has managed to pull this off. Many say it's the help of her new judge on panel, editor-at-large of Vogue US, Andre Leon Talley.

On Saturday I finally did what I had longed to do, shave my head. With the help of my dad and best friend, I accomplished my task. Inspired by none other than Amber Rose, who rocks the hell out of the bald look, and up-and-coming singer/dancer/choreographer Jonte', I decided to give it a try.

Personally, I love it on me. It gives me a more mature and exotic look. I've become obsessed with it, LOL. I'ma keep it for awhile.

I'm loving Kanye and Drake for this track right here. Drake's confession to find love just really takes me there. Takes me to a place I can relate to, finding true love. Ahhh.

Okay but no, this is an amazing track! I've been bumping it non-stop since last night during my midnight drive home from school. The lyrics are so sentimental and meaningful and listeners of either sex can relate to them. He's always been a singer of love and I like this in him. Many rapper and/or R&B singers don't sing too much about love or finding love. Good to see someone is still searching and not giving up. :)

Drake's debut album, Thank Me Later, is set to release in June and with this and his hit first single Over, I'm sure he's not going to disappoint.

Alabama A&M University "Every Sunny Wednesday" during Kappa Week 2010.

So, what we (AAMU students) thought was just gonna be a video that we all tweeted about and Bluetoothed to one another's phones, has gained national recognition. World Star Hip Hop and MediaTakeOut both got kicks out of this and posted these on their websites. Even though, MTO is reporting it's Alabama State (GAG) University, I, being an eyewitness and student of AAMU, am telling you it's us.

When it comes to my own personal style, I don't fit into a genre, category and/or group of individuals. I'll give you Beverly Hills phish one day and the next Uptown NY boy. Why? Because I believe fashion is more than just Chanel and Gucci and whomever you may see on the runway. I find fashion in things that are visually appealing and pleasing to my eye.

I have flower pins and Dee & Ricky brooches. Pearls and gold dookies. Headbands and fitted caps. Gladiator sandals and Jordans. I'm so versatile. But I have found my style to be what I call Cunt Boy Bleu. It goes from feminine to masculine, soft to hard, fashionable to trendy.

I think that's why people admire my fashion sense so much. Because of the versatility I put into my own personal choices in my wardrobe. And I do thank those people. Be expecting more style pics from me in the future. You asked for 'em, here they are and here they will come. ;)

Daniel "Diggy" Simmons has been creating quite a buzz on many blogs and such with his recent jetsettin' to fashion week and as he grows and develops his style and devote his love for fashion. But it seems as if he shares a love for music as well, rap to be exact. The 15-year-old fashionisto was recently signed to Atlantic Records.

Me personally, I'm NOT seeing it. In my opinion, he's trying to do too much and grow up too fast. He's only 15. Still has plenty of time to live. And no judgement of his parents but when will they step in and be parents? Like they have done in the past with their children they make and strictly enforce schoolwork and finishing, and Diggy should do as well. Tippin' around the world, minglin' with the finest is great but let the kid be a kid. Not sayin' don't let him have fun and vacate but on a much smaller scale. And not only that, I feel he's puttin' too much into too much at such small time. School, if that, fashion, music. Pretty soon he'll be planning his desire to open a nightclub. Is he 15 or 25? He's got a nice flow though... to be 15. No shade. He needs development and growth. But it's cute. Also check out his blog. It's pretty nice as well.

Browsing thru my iTunes I stumbled upon Pharrell's debut album "In My Mind." Hadn't heard it in awhile and after listening to two of my favorite tracks, I remember how great and how in love I was with it when it came out back in the summer of 2006. It's so fresh and groovy. Very summer-esque. He couldn't have put out a better and more perfect album for that time. And being that he wrote and produced EVERY track on the album makes me love and respect Pharrell even more. Not to mention his keen style and prominence in the fashion industry. I wanna hear and see more of him. Anybody know of any upcoming projects he's got going? I'd love to know. :)

First, let me apologize for the lack of updates. Between school, partyin' & fashion life's been busy busy busy! But the joy of being a young collegiate individual like myself is the refund check. It's the light at the start of the tunnel (3.0+ GPA being at the end). So I decided to spend mine on nothin' more than fashion. Like duh, what else would you have in mind?

The first thing I did was get in contact with Jennifer of Sirens & Sailors to get my Grey Anties. I've always loved these sunglasses when I first spotted Beyonce tippin' down in them in Manhattan earlier last year. Got my coin & splurged. Why not? I deserve it. Merry Christmas to me. Thanks, Jen! Also snagged a fake CHANEL logo neckpiece. Yeah, it's fake. Fuck you. At least I'll admit it & don't try to give like I spent $1K on it, hmph!

I also bought some other stuff and stuff is still shipping in daily. I'll be posting the pics, promise. Got get my blog more personal while still giving you fashionists your fix. Just gotta find the perfect mix. So expect more of THEE Bradley Jean Phifer. (Phi- news coming soon.)

Since my fashion research began (LOL) I've become more in LOVE with the wonderful CHANEL. CHANEL is like the embodiment of women. Everything a women wants and ought to be. As we all know, I'm ~~not~~ at all a Beyoncé stan, but I do live for her. However, unlike other people (mostly queens) I don't make her my life. That being said, this video ATE. Hands down. After a failed video for Sweet Dreams (my opinion) she really outdid herself. I would venture to say this is by far her best video yet and I love it. I love how she really embodied Sasha and showcases her to her fullest extent in the vid. As far as GAGa, she was cute in the vid. I liked her dancing and such with Bey. But it SO was not her style. She said she was paying homage to Beyoncé and she did, cute. Just don't wanna see her out of her element. Nonetheless, I got in.
